Bagratuni wines have the name of the Bagratuni dynasty of rulers. Winemaking and viticulture prospered in Armenia under their rule, from the 9th to the 11th centuries: new wineries and taverns were built, and numerous vineyards were planted. The label depicts the coat of arms of the dynasty. These are reserve wines aged in oak barrels.
The wine is made from the noble grape variety Areni. The vineyar is located in Vayoc Dzor region, on the 1300-1400 m above sea level. The wines are called reserve and агe aged for more than 6 months in Caucasus oak barrels.
