The wine was named KOOR (Kur) in honor of the ancient story of how Armenians produced wine and exported it. Herodotus tells about this in detail in one of his works: Armenian merchants descended from Armenia to Babylon downstream of the Euphrates River on round boats made of leather and wooden rods. Barrels of wine and a donkey were transported in a boat. In Babylon, after selling all the wine, the merchants dismantled the boats, loaded them onto donkeys and returned back to Armenia by land.

Technological features of WINE Production: The hand-picked grapes are sorted on a screening table before cold maceration. Fermentation is carried out at a temperature of 14-16 ° C for 20 days. The wine is aged in barrels of Artsakh oak for 20 months, with a long-term aging of 6 months in a bottle.  
Organoleptic DESCRIPTION OF WINE: The wine is honey-golden in color. First, the wine reveals bright notes, followed by delicate floral aromas, with a particularly noticeable hint of white acacia. Rounded, creamy, with bright notes of vanilla and caramel.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14°C– 16°C
GASTROPARKS: The wine goes well with soft cheeses, hearty mushroom risotto, fruit dishes or desserts based on vanilla or caramel.
